Ravi Kishan On Karan Veer-Chum Darang’s Romance On Bigg Boss 18: ‘He’s A Flirt But…’ | Exclusive – News18

Ravi Kishan is sure that all brewing romances inside Bigg Boss 18 house have an expiry date and calls Karan Veer Mehra a flirt.
Romances inside the Bigg Boss house aren’t unheard of. Among the many who found love inside the house, Keith Sequiera – Rochelle Rao and Karan Kundrra – Tejasswi Prakash are still setting major couple goals. On the other hand, Asim Riaz – Himanshi Khurana, Paras Chhabra – Mahira Sharma, Tanishaa Mukerji – Armaan Kohli and Shamita Shetty – Raqesh Bapat, among many others, parted ways. It seems like love is in the air inside the Bigg Boss 18 house too. Recently, Avinash Mishra confessed his feelings for Eisha Singh.
Fans have also been speculating a brewing romance between Rajat Dalal and Chahat Pandey as he lifted her in his arms during a romantic dance on show. Last month, on Weekend Ka Vaar, Karan Veer Mehra confessed his feelings for Chum Darang, who reciprocated. Their chemistry, in fact, is much talked about with their fans lovingly call them ChumVeer. However, Shrutika Arjun recently cautioned Chum against Karan Veer stating that he may be using romance as a strategy to stay relevant in the game.
Now, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Weekend Ka Vaar host Ravi Kishan shares his stance on the love stories inside the house and if they’re scripted to grab eyeballs. He tells us, “Karan’s a flirt but he’s holding it back. I don’t know why. But one thing I can say is that, passion uchaal maarta hai andar. Inside the house, you’ve nothing else to do and your energy levels touch the zenith. I can’t even explain to you what happens inside the house.” Interestingly, Ravi was a contestant on Bigg Boss 1 that ran between 2006 and 2007.
Did he also see love blossoming between any of his co-contestants? “Mere season mein, maine wholesale mein romance dekha hai. Bahot romance hota tha. Hawa chalti thi aur romance hota tha. It’s a different world inside the Bigg Boss house. Anyone who gets inside, gets hypnotised. People don’t even know what they’re doing. They don’t understand anything,” says the Singham Again and Laapataa Ladies actor.
However, he guarantees that all these romances in Bigg Boss 18 come with an expiry date. Talking about it, Ravi states, “But these people won’t ever meet each other once they step out. If you look at the last 17 seasons, friendships or relationships that happen inside the house, don’t sustain outside. It’s because these people don’t even want to see each other. Andar ek doosre ko itna dekh lete hai ki bahar jaake unka shakal nahi dekhna chahte hai.”
He further believes that these split-ups also stem from the inability to adjust with the outside world after stepping away from the Bigg Boss house. “If they come to know that the other person is going to the same party they’re supposed to go to, they’ll decide against going there. There are too many betrayals that happen. Some go into deep darkness. Some stopped coming out in the public eye after leaving the house. Ek alag andheri ki duniya mein chale gaye,” he remarks.
