5 MPs from West Bengal reached Aligarh on Tuesday. On coming here, he went to Aligarh Muslim University and met the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Met Naima Khatoon. After meeting the VC, he discussed about the AMU center running in Bengal.

The MPs told the VC that the AMU center running in Bengal should be further developed and the courses offered here should be increased. He told that AMU’s study center is being operated in Murshidabad in West Bengal. If more centers are opened there, more students will be able to benefit from it.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs were included

Five MPs from West Bengal had reached the university campus on Tuesday to meet the AMU VC. In this, Pt. Khalilur Rahman, MP from Jangipur Lok Sabha constituency of Bengal, Abu Tahir Khan, MP from Murshidabad Lok Sabha constituency, Mithali Bagh, MP from Arambag Lok Sabha constituency, Asit Kumar Mal, MP from Bolpur Lok Sabha constituency, were there.

Along with this, Rajya Sabha MP Nadimul Haq was also included in this team. All these MPs were welcomed by the AMU VC on their arrival in Aligarh. After which everyone discussed the topic of educational development. The Vice Chancellor informed them about the current situation of Murshidabad Center and assured that it will be further improved.

AMU center was opened in Bengal in 2010

Aligarh Muslim University has educational centers open in many states of the country. Various educational activities and courses are conducted here. These courses are directly recognized by Aligarh Muslim University.

The educational center was established in 2010 in Murshidabad, West Bengal. At present three courses are being run here, which include BA LLB, B.Ed and MBA. The VC has assured that the number of courses in this center will be increased further, so that more and more students can benefit.

During the meeting of MP and VC, Dean of Student Welfare Department, Prof. Rafiuddin, University Registrar Mohammad Imran (IPS), Proctor Prof. Various officials of the university including Wasim Ali, Controller of Examinations Dr. Mujibullah Zuberi, Coordinator AMU Centre, Director of Murshidabad Center and OSD were present.
