After watching the film, she described it as “very important” and commended its depiction of historical events.
According to Kangana, the film sheds light on the country’s history, revealing facts allegedly hidden by the previous government and showcasing the politics involved. Speaking to ANI, she said, , “It is a very important film… It is our country’s history and the previous government hid facts from the people. The film shows how people played politics in such a grave situation back then.”
The “cockroach” remark dates back to 2021 when Vikrant commented on Yami Gautam’s wedding photo with Aditya Dhar, writing, “Pure & Pious like Radhe Maa!” Kangana responded sharply, saying, “Kahan se nikla ye cockroach..lao meri chappal. (From where did this cockroach come. Someone get my slipper).”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by NDA MPs, attended a special screening of The Sabarmati Report at the Balyogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Complex on Monday. According to sources cited by News18, the Prime Minister became deeply emotional while watching the film.
The screening was also attended by NDA leaders and Union Ministers, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Kiren Rijiju, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and others.
After the screening, PM Modi praised the cast and crew for their outstanding performance in the movie. in a post on X, Modi said, “Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report.’ I commend the makers of the film for their effort.”
The screening was attended by the entire cast and crew of the film, including lead actor Vikrant Massey, Riddhi Dogra, director Dheeraj Sarna, and veteran actor Jeetendra, representing producer Ekta Kapoor. The movie, with Vikrant Massey in the lead role, delves into the tragic events of the 2002 Godhra train tragedy.
