Many important proposals were approved in the AKTU Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
An Executive Council meeting was held at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting. These include the Institute of Engineering and Technology (I) under the Career Advancement Scheme.

Also, the envelope for appointment of directors of 4 new government engineering colleges was opened. These include Government Engineering College Gonda, Government Engineering College Basti, Government Engineering College Pratapgarh and Government Engineering College Mirzapur.
CAS Got approval to start B.Tech in
Apart from this, approval was given to start B.Tech course in Center for Advanced Studies (CAS). B.Tech studies are proposed here from July next year. For this, the proposal for creation of 20 posts has also been approved. DG Technical Education Department Avinash Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Rajeev Kumar, Registrar Reena Singh, Finance Officer Keshav Singh and other members were present in the meeting.
