District Congress in Mathura took out a candle march on Thursday in protest against the detention of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi after the recent incident in Sambhal. This march started from District Congress Office to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi Vikas Market, in which

Leading the candle march, Advocate Bhagwan Singh Verma said that the Uttar Pradesh government was trying to hide the incident from the Congress leaders, due to which Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were prevented from coming to their senses. He prayed for the wisdom of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that whatever happened in Sambhal should be revealed to the entire country.

Sharp attack on BJP government Congress District President strongly criticized the dictatorial policy of the BJP government. He said that in the matter of crime and law and order, the BJP government and its representatives are working disregarding every rule and law.

If BJP had done everything right in Sambhal then there would have been no need to stop Rahul Gandhi. He said that whatever wrong was done by BJP is in front of the public, and the public will answer for it in the upcoming elections.

During this candle march, Congress workers also raised slogans against the Uttar Pradesh government and demanded an end to the dictatorship prevailing in the state.
