Identification done from CCTV footage ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra said that on the night of December 1, cases of theft of one scooter and two bikes were reported in Sector-51. The thieves stole three vehicles within an hour. Teams were formed to catch the thieves. CCTV cameras installed in the sector were searched. The faces of the thieves were captured in some cameras. The team started efforts to identify the accused and arrest them. On Tuesday, both the accused were arrested from the service road leading to Sector-51.

Used to sell bikes at cheap prices Both the accused have been identified as Akram Ali, resident of village Gijhod, Sector-53, and Anas, resident of town Sayana in district Bulandshahr. Presently Anas lives in Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad. During interrogation, the accused told that they are professional vehicle thieves. Even during the arrest they were going to steal the vehicle. At the behest of the accused, 10 scooties and 10 bikes were recovered from different places. The accused told that after stealing the two-wheeler, they park it at a secret place. When they find customers, they sell it at a cheap price.
