ADM gave information
ADM Finance and Revenue Pradeep Kumar said that land is being acquired for the runway of the airport located in the border area of Balrampur and Shravasti. So far, 40.26 hectares of land has been acquired from 350 farmers, while the deed of 0.24 hectares of land is still pending. Objections are being taken from land owners regarding this acquisition process and this process will be completed in the next two months.

The administration says that the deed of land for the common airport will be done from the first day of Chaitra Navratri. The government has allocated Rs 47.62 crore for the deed of land. Under this, land has been identified in village Bagahi and Elhwa of Sadar block. The expansion work of the airport will start as soon as the land is deeded.
