In view of the violent incident in Sambhal and 6th December (celebrated as Black Day by Muslim community and Bravery Day by Hindu organizations), Christmas, New Year etc., Police Commissioner J. Ravinder Goud imposed Section 163 (formerly Section 144 CrPC) in Agra.

No person shall collect bricks, stones, mortar, soda water bottles or any other such object at any place. Which can cause injury to anyone by moving or throwing it, nor will it inspire anyone to do so. No person shall publish or distribute any leaflet, pamphlet etc. which contains objectionable words like religious fanaticism or communal caste disputes and is likely to have an adverse effect on peace and law and order. No petrol pump operator will provide fuel to any vehicle without number from the petrol pump. No department, parking contractor, shopkeeper, shopping mall, cinema hall, public premises and commercial premises will allow any vehicle to be parked without number, if found parked, it will immediately inform the concerned police station. No person will use loudspeaker, etc. in any public place in Commissionerate Agra without permission.
