In a recent interview, Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about her crush on the Mohabbatein actor Jimmy Shergill.

Tamannaah Bhatia has been gaining immense love along with her co-stars, Jimmy Shergill and Avinash Tiwary, for their recently released film Sikandar Ka Muqaddar. But did you know Tamannaah once had a huge crush on Jimmy? The three stars recently sat for a candid conversation, and the actress didn’t shy away from admitting the same.

In a chat with Siddharth Kannan for his YouTube channel, Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, and Jimmy Shergill talked about an array of topics related to their career, the recent heist thriller film and many other personal moments. In one segment of the conversation, the host began highlighting how Jimmy enjoyed huge popularity starting from his college days. Siddharth mentioned that Jimmy’s teachers used to call him for tuition during his college days in San Francisco. However, the actor, who seemingly got awkward with these, dismissed all such claims. Soon, Siddharth asked Tamannaah about her opinion on this. The actress mentioned, “I am not surprised. Everyone had a crush on Jimmy Sir at some point. So this is acceptable.”

Tamannah was also quizzed about whether she had a crush on Jimmy, and she admitted to being in love with him after watching him in the film Mohabbatein. She shared, “I loved him in Mohabbatein. That was a crushing moment. Why not.” Well, Jimmy’s character in the film Mohabbatein has indeed etched a beautiful place in the hearts of his millions of fans. In addition, when Avinash was asked to express his thoughts on this, he said that even today, people are in love with Jimmy.

During the same chat, Tamannaah even gave her opinion on whether the Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba actor is an underrated artist. She said, “The kind of versatility Jimmy sir has had in his career, not many people have had. And I look forward to all his performances, especially because there is this sense of intensity and evolution. I’m sure he has also evolved as a person. Honestly, showing his performances.”

Despite having a huge crush on Jimmy, it was only the first time in Sikandar Ka Muqaddar that Tamannaah got the chance to work with him. Discussing her experience, she exclaimed, “I never really met him before this. But I always see something very new coming out. When I performed with him. The first day, I was genuinely intimidated. He is playing a cop; I didn’t know how to say ‘hello’ to him.” Jimmy interrupted her by adding, “Meri line chinn li inhone ab. Maine hello bola tha, inhone adhe din tak ‘hello’ ka reply nhi kiya. Woh itne character ke andar thi ki ussey nikalne mein inko pura lunch break lag gaya (Now she has read my line. I said hello, but she did not reply to my ‘hello’ for a day. She was so deep in character that it took her entire lunch break to get out of it).”
