A laborer posted at Hargaon Sugar Factory in Sitapur died under suspicious circumstances. It is alleged that the factory workers had fled away leaving him dead at home. The family took the dead body to the sugar factory, where the farmers created a ruckus.

After talks between the police force and the bill employees who reached several police stations, the family members ended the ruckus and sent the body for post-mortem. The mill administration has assured to provide a job to a member of the deceased’s family.

The matter is of Hargaon police station area. The deceased Vinod, a resident of Belthara village here, used to work as a laborer in Avadh Sugar Factory, Hargaon. Family members told that like every day, he had gone to work on Thursday night shift at 12 o’clock. Suddenly his health deteriorated and he died there. The family alleges that instead of sending him to the hospital for treatment, the mill workers ran away leaving him dead at home.
