A video of a lawman from Kol tehsil of Aligarh demanding bribe is going viral. In which he is seen talking to the villagers about a transaction of Rs 20 thousand in exchange for filing land report. In this the villagers are asking them to file the report for less money.

The villagers are telling Kanoon-Go that they will give 5000 rupees. The other person is requesting him to file a report considering him as a poor man. The victims have given the video of this entire conversation to the authorities. After which Kanungo has been removed from his post and attached to another office. Along with this, clarification has also been sought from him.
District Panchayat President complained to the administration
This video is said to be a few days old. In which the then Revenue Inspector of Tehsil Kol, Akrabad, is talking to Akhilesh Sharma about the transaction of rural money. The villagers allege that if they did not pay the money, Kanungo did not do their work.
Presently Akhilesh Sharma is posted on the post of Revenue Inspector Jalali. Then he complained about this matter to District Panchayat President Vijay Singh. After which he sent a written complaint to the DM. After which SDM Kol has taken action against him and removed him from the post of Revenue Inspector Jalali and attached him to the Registrar Law Office.
Departmental investigation started against the accused
Along with removing the accused Kanoon Go, who talked about money transactions with the villagers, a written explanation has been sought from him. Along with this, departmental inquiry has been started. If he is found guilty in the investigation, strict departmental action will be taken against him.
SDM Col Digvijay Singh said that the victims have provided the video of the case. The case is being investigated. If the investigation is found guilty then strict departmental action will be taken against them.
