The second test between South Africa and Sri Lanka has reached an exciting turn. On the fifth day, Sri Lanka needs 143 runs, while South Africa needs 5 wickets. The pitch at St George’s Park Stadium in Kebera is not completely dilapidated. Therefore, both the teams have equal chances to win.

At stumps on the fourth day, Sri Lanka scored 205 runs for 5 wickets. The team has got the target of 348 runs. South Africa scored 358 runs in its first innings and 317 runs in the second innings. Whereas Sri Lanka had scored 328 runs in its first innings.

Bavuma scored fifty On the fourth day, South Africa started playing its second innings with a score of 191/3. Tristan Stubbs led his innings with 36 runs and captain Temba Bavuma with 48 runs. Bavuma scored a fifty and was out after scoring 66 runs, while Stubbs scored 47 runs.

David Bedingham contributed 35 runs. 5 tailenders also played innings of 8 to 14 runs and took the score to 317 runs. South Africa had taken a lead of 30 runs in the first innings, hence Sri Lanka got the target of 348 runs.
