The court has released all three accused of fatal attack on Aligarh’s Kol MLA Anil Parashar. The MLA was attacked in 2012, at that time he was just a BJP leader. The police had revealed this after the incident.

The police had arrested one of his relatives in this case. The relative was accused of conspiring to murder and the police had also sent two shooters to jail in this case. The court has given its verdict in this case on Monday. The court of Sessions Judge Sanjeev Kumar has acquitted all three and released them.

Current Kol MLA Anil Parashar was fatally attacked on August 5, 2012 in Quarsi police station area. The accused had fired at him, in which he narrowly escaped. At that time he was not an MLA, only a BJP leader.
Anil Parashar was the former metropolitan president of BJYM and was recognized as a senior leader of BJP. Some time after the incident, the police revealed the matter and made his relative Manish Pachauri an accused. Manish was accused of conspiring to commit this incident. Two sharp shooters Jitendra and Ashok were also arrested.

DGC Crime Chowk. Jitendra Singh said that the hearing of this case was completed on November 28 and the decision was reserved. Which was pronounced on 9th December. All three accused have been acquitted due to lack of witnesses and lack of evidence.
He told that Manish Pachauri, son of Ravindra Kumar Sharma, resident of Vishnupuri, Pinku Thakur alias Jitendra Kumar, son of Nem Singh, resident of Nagla Mali, Ashok Kalia alias Ashok Kumar, son of Netrapal Singh, resident of Vivek Vihar, who were acquitted, were already released on bail. Therefore there was no need for them to surrender separately.
