Atlee, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Jawan, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan at the grand trailer launch of Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan is all set to make a grand return to the big screen with his highly anticipated film Baby John. Building up the excitement among fans, the makers have been steadily releasing songs, and today marked the release of the action-packed trailer at a grand event that exuded glitz and glamour. The event saw the presence of lead stars Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi, along with presenters Atlee, and producers Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee, who joined a thrilled crowd in Pune to unveil this cinematic spectacle.
Atlee, who has written and produced the film, took the opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude to key figures who have shaped his journey in the industry. Acknowledging Shah Rukh Khan, who collaborated with him on Jawan, Atlee shared, “Shah Rukh Khan sir. Without him, I would have not come to Bollywood and made a film. And now I am producing a film thanks to Shah Rukh sir. Wherever you are, please bless us.”
The acclaimed director continued to pay tribute to other influential figures in his career, stating, “And then the second thanks to Mr. Thalapathy Vijay, my brother. He is my heart, he is my soul. He is everything. Whatever I have today, it is all because of him. So thanks to him.” Atlee also expressed gratitude to Salman Khan, who makes a special appearance in Baby John, “Salman Khan sir has a very big heart to be a part of Baby John. In a few minutes, we’re going to see something about Salman sir in the trailer. So thanks to JIO Studios and my partners.”
Highlighting Varun Dhawan’s trust in him, Atlee added, “After Jawan released, everyone believed in me. But before Jawan, the man who believed in me was Varun Dhawan. One promise I am making is that we are creating one more superstar. To put it simply, what Animal has done for Ranbir Kapoor, I believe Baby John will do for Varun Dhawan, with God’s blessings.”
The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Baby John, a thrilling blend of action, family drama, humor, and music. Helmed by director Kalees, the film promises to be a high-octane entertainer underscored by a meaningful message. Legendary composer S. Thaman has delivered a gripping background score and chart-topping tracks, elevating the film’s emotional and action-packed sequences.
Varun Dhawan’s grand entrance at the event, coupled with his flawless dance moves alongside Wamiqa Gabbi on the chart-buster song Nain Matakka, further ignited the energy in the room. Fans, chanting “Good Vibes Only,” added to the electric atmosphere, making the event a true celebration of cinema.
