Pushpa 2 has become a box-office juggernaut, continuing to smash records with its stellar earnings. On its first Monday, the film earned an all-time record-breaking Rs 64.1 crore net across all languages, taking its net total to an impressive Rs 593.1 crore, according to Sacnilk.com. This marks another milestone for the Allu Arjun starrer, which had already set new benchmarks in its opening days. With this massive collection, Pushpa 2 has become one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema.

The film wrapped its extended weekend on a high, with Pushpa 2 grossing approximately Rs 162 crore on Sunday alone. It became the second film to surpass Rs 150 crore in a single day, with both achievements held by Pushpa 2. The movie also broke its own records in North India, where it delivered the highest-ever single-day collections, falling just short of Rs 100 crore gross due to capacity constraints in multiple regions. No other film has crossed Rs 70 crore in the region, solidifying Pushpa 2’s dominance.

Monday proved to be another strong day, with massive bookings and a huge demand spillover, pushing Pushpa 2 towards the potential of surpassing Rs 600 crore nett. This gives the film a path to possibly challenging the all-time record held by Baahubali 2, though it may be early to declare a race.

In its home state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where collections had initially been underwhelming due to high ticket prices, Pushpa 2 rebounded significantly on Sunday, earning over Rs 40 crore. Despite the challenges in these states, the film’s impressive four-day collection in Telugu states stands at Rs 178 crore, second only to RRR’s Rs 193 crore.

The film also showed remarkable growth in Tamil Nadu, where it earned nearly Rs 13 crore on Sunday, reaching a four-day total of Rs 43 crore, the highest ever for a non-Kollywood film. In Karnataka, Pushpa 2 outpaced RRR and Kalki 2898 AD with back-to-back double-digit collections. Despite some underperformance in Kerala, the overall box-office trend points to a long and successful run for Pushpa 2, cementing its place as a record-shattering success across Indian cinema.
