Under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers Association united, teachers demonstrated at the DIOS office on Monday. Under the leadership of District President Devraj Singh, teachers of aided secondary schools of the district met the District School Inspector in support of various demands.

In fact, this memorandum was submitted regarding the 6 resolutions passed in the provincial convention of the organization held in Basti district last November. This includes the demand for service security and nationalization, promotion, citizen’s charter, online transfer without NOC, recruitment of principal on the basis of written examination and interview and making of a service manual covering unfunded teachers under Section 7(4). Apart from this, a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister and a memorandum addressed to the Secretary, Secondary Education Council, Uttar Pradesh regarding all the discrepancies in the time table of the Board Examination 2025 announced by the Secondary Education Council, were handed over to the District School Inspector.

A memorandum was also sent to the Chief Minister in support of the 6-point demands.

There should be a gap between two subjects in examinations

It has been demanded that there should be sufficient gap between the dates of two subjects in the UP Board examination. Along with this, a letter was also given to the District School Inspector regarding the problems of district level teachers and employees which have been pending in the District School Inspector’s office for years.

State patron of the organization, Dr. Hariprakash Yadav said that district level problems should be resolved as soon as possible so that teachers can conduct teaching and other activities in their respective schools with an independent mind. Due to lack of solution to local problems, teachers are continuously visiting the office and are not able to find solution to the problem, due to which teaching in schools is greatly affected.

Warning to protest against the government

State Vice President Upendra Verma said that the government should implement the policy of nationalization of non-government schools and online transfer without NOC as soon as possible, otherwise the state leadership will be forced to hold a massive protest against the government. State Minister Teerthraj Patel said that on the basis of the previous advertisement dated April 1, 2005, the work of sending the panel of teachers entitled to old pension from the District School Inspector’s Office Prayagraj should be done as soon as possible so that action can be taken before March 31, 2025.

State Income Expenditure Inspector Surendra Pratap Singh said that in the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Commission Act 2023, under Section 21, 18 and 12, service security, reinstatement, promotion, acting principal should be given the benefit of one salary increase.

District Minister DP Yadav, State Organization Minister Suresh Pasi, State Minister Sandeep Shukla, State Executive Member, Javed Mandal President Mithilesh Maurya, Laxmi Narayan Singh, Lalmani Yadav, Ashish Gupta, Dr. Rajesh Singh, Dr. Gargi Srivastava and others were present in it. .
