The incident of assault took place at the Moni Baba temple located on Rath Road under Orai Kotwali area. It has been told that on Monday evening an e-rickshaw driver was going towards Rath Road. As soon as he reached near Moni Baba temple.
During this time, his e-rickshaw collided with two youths who were riding a bike under the influence of alcohol. On which the bike riding youths came down on the road and beat him brutally. Not only this, seeing this fight, people tried to intervene. But the youth kept beating him.
The Home Guard jawans and PRD jawans on duty reached the spot. He removed the youth who assaulted him. Then the e-rickshaw driver could be saved.
