Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Manoj Kumar Singh assured to increase the honorarium of outsourcing employees to twenty thousand rupees per month. He said that the government is seriously considering this matter. He gave this assurance to the joint delegation of the State Employees Organization.

Discussion took place on these demands
During the meeting, the State Employees Joint Council presented its stand on various demands of the employees. Council Chairman JN Tiwari demanded making rules for outsourced employees, setting minimum honorarium and regularizing contract employees appointed after 2001. Apart from this, there was talk of talks by departmental officers on the demands of departmental organizations, giving special leave to recognized organizations and ensuring compliance of the mandate of giving exemption from biometrics. Along with this, a request was also made to take timely action to resolve the salary discrepancy of the employees.
An honorarium of Rs 20,000 is being considered.
Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh responded positively to these issues and said that the proposal regarding outsourced employees will soon be passed by the cabinet. He also informed that the government is considering giving a minimum honorarium of Rs 20,000 to outsourced employees. Positive assurance was given on other demands also.
During the meeting, the issue of privatization taking place in the electricity department was also discussed. JN Tiwari expressed concern over the future of employees due to privatization. Especially regarding privatization of Purvanchal and Dakshinanchal. On this the Chief Secretary assured that no employee will be removed. The Chief Secretary agreed to talk to Shailendra Dubey, convenor of the United Front, for a solution to the movement being run by Vidyut Sangharsh Morcha.
The Chief Secretary said during the meeting that further talks will continue on the demands of the employees. Whatever problems they have, they will be solved.
