A major accident took place near Sarawa village in Alapur police station area of Ambedkar Nagar. The school van of Shri Krishna Children Academy went out of control and overturned while trying to save the bike rider. About 6 children were injured in this accident.

After the accident, seeing the van overturning, nearby people reached the spot and took the children out of the van. Local people immediately informed the police. The police took the injured children to the local hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
No serious injuries, driver being interrogated
Alapur police station in-charge Inspector Rakesh Kumar said that the children injured in the incident have suffered minor injuries and all are being treated in the local hospital. The van driver is being detained and interrogated.
The school was open even on holidays
Another question related to this incident is that there was a local holiday declared in the district due to Govind Saheb fair. Despite this, the school was open, due to which there was resentment among the parents. The accident has raised questions on the negligence of the school administration and the safety of the van. Family members and local people have expressed concern about the safety of children.
