A dispute in a marriage procession took a violent turn during a wedding ceremony in a village in Kokhraj police station area of Kaushambi district. A young man died after being hit by a stick in this fight. The incident has left the family in mourning.

The matter escalated to the level of sticks and sticks.
There was a wedding of the daughter of a family in Baghelpur village of Kokhraj. The procession had come from Paksarai village of Charwa police station area. When the wedding procession reached the door, some people were dancing drunk. Meanwhile, a person from the bride’s side interrupted one of the wedding guests about dancing. Due to which the controversy started. The matter escalated to the point of sticks and rods.
Ballu son of Basdev, resident of Badhwa Karari, who came to intervene during the fight, got hit with a stick on his head. He fell seriously injured. People from the wedding procession took him to the nearest health center for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead.
Police took action
The family of the deceased informed the police. After which the body was sent for postmortem. Police station in-charge CB Maurya said that a complaint has been sought from the family. On the basis of postmortem report and complaint, a case will be registered and the accused will be arrested.
