Instructions to provide hearing aids to student Anand Pandey

During the inspection, the DM specifically directed the District Disabled Empowerment Officer to provide hearing aids to student Anand Pandey to solve his hearing problem. This step shows the sensitivity of the administration towards the problems of disabled children.

Discussion on expansion of the center and financial grants

The DM discussed the need for construction of additional rooms at the center and assured that necessary action would be taken in this regard. Also, on the problem of the Center not receiving financial grants from the Government of India, he directed to submit a letter to the concerned officer so that it can be resolved soon.

New system for disability certificate

DM directed that disability certificate should now be issued at the district level only. For this, orders were given to ensure availability of waiter machine. With this new system, it will be easier for disabled people to get certificates and services will be available on time.

Inspiration for holistic development

The DM inspired the manager and officers of the center to play an effective role for the overall development of the children. He said that there should be no shortage of facilities provided in the center and special attention should be given to the education and health of children.

The inspection and prompt instructions of DM Gaurang Rathi have given hope to the disabled children and their families that this activism of the administration will bring positive changes in their lives.
