Pictures and videos of aespa’s Winter And ENHYPHEN’s Jungwon were circulated online, claiming that the artists were secretly dating.

Are aespa’s Winter and ENHYPHEN’s Jungwon really together? The K-pop stars were recently caught in the middle of a dating rumour, only to become top news in the K-content world. It began after a post claimed that the pair had been spotted at the same bar in the Cheongdam neighborhood. It also claimed that while Winter and Jungwon left the venue separately, the duo had been together throughout the time, with the ENHYPHEN star remaining all covered up to avoid exposure.

Internet users were also quick to notice the aespa member in the same clothes that she had worn for a dance challenge earlier, sparking even more curiosity. The viral post claimed that they were on a date at a bar when the rumourmonger spotted them. While Winter got into a taxi first, Jungwon was the last one to leave after her, it added.

The videos also claimed to contain their voices, which further solidified the speculations. Amid the ongoing discussions, both the idols’ fans were left divided as many were reluctant to accept the speculations, believing that the alleged evidence could barely prove the rumours.

Despite the strong claims, both Winter and Jungwon have now denied dating each other. Their agencies have issued formal statements clearing the air.

SM Entertainment on behalf of Winter called the rumours “groundless,” claiming that the person circulating the picture had contacted the media outlet with the intention of gaining monetary benefits. “The person who circulated the photo contacted a media outlet with the intention of monetary gain, attempting to communicate with us directly. However, when the outlet refused by saying that they could not help contact for reports with the purpose of monetary gain, they seemed to have maliciously circulated. We will be taking legal action,” it said, as per Soompi.

On the other hand, Jungwon’s agency BELIFT LAB also issued a statement stating that they will take strong action against any such things. “The dating rumors are not true. BELIFT LAB will take strong action against any acts that infringe on the privacy of our artists or create or spread malicious rumors,” the statement read.

Winter, who debuted as an aespa member in 2020, remains a popular figure among K-pop fans with her groups recognised for hit songs like Supernova, Spicy and Next Level. Likewise, Jungwon who also made his debut around the same time in 2020 is known for tracks like Polaroid Love, Bite Me and Fever.
