After razing many shops, when the bulldozer reached Nirmala Devi’s tea shop, she started protesting along with her family. It was said that the land they are occupying is registry land, so why is it being demolished without giving compensation. Those protesting include Nirmala, Bunty Modanwal, Gandhi Sao, Baba Singh, Omprakash, Govind, Suman Jaiswal, Lal Bahadur Patel, Suman Jaiswal, Mahendra Patel, Lakshmi Shankar Mishra, Ali Ahmed, Dilip Tripathi, in Araji numbers 212 to 213. Ashok Tripathi, Vijay Gupta, Radheshyam Gupta, Nizamuddin Shah said that everyone’s houses were destroyed without compensation. It is being forcibly demolished. Due to the protest, PWD had to stop the work late in the evening. At the time of demolition, a crowd of local people as well as passers-by had gathered.
