Music producer Yashraj Mukhate has created another viral sensation, this time inspired by actress Keerthy Suresh’s food choices. His new song, titled Dosa, is based on Keerthy’s love for the South Indian dish, which she revealed in a recent interview. The song has become a massive hit, earning close to 13 million views on Instagram.
In the interview, Keerthy was asked about her favourite food. While rejecting options like idli, biryani and puttu, she consistently chose dosa. Mukhate used her remarks to craft a fun and catchy song. The video begins with Yashraj eating dosa while watching Keerthy’s interview on a screen. It then transitions to a slow-motion montage of him singing about dosa.
The lyrics, “Dil mein yun mere jaake basa hai dosa, jaise ho khushiyon ka bharosa, dosa, mere kal waale khaane mein dosa, aanewaale khaane mein dosa,” express his love for the dish humorously.
The song quickly went viral and even Keerthy couldn’t stop laughing. She commented, “Omgggg this is so funnyyy and cooollll!!! Looks like this is going to be my new favourite song.”
Many celebrities reacted to the song. Singer Sunidhi Chauhan praised Yashraj, writing, “Kaise karte ho?? Kya hi sochte ho?? Kya dimaag hai bhaiiii!!! [How do you do it? What do you think? What a brain you have!]” Sonu Nigam called it “Soooooooperrb,” while Salim Merchant said, “Crazy!! You always make it so entertaining. Kamaal.” Archana Puran Singh joined the praise, saying, “What a gaana sirji!”
Yashraj Mukhate has over 2 million followers on Instagram and is famous for turning quirky dialogues into viral tracks. Some of his popular creations include Rasode Mein Kaun Tha, Lappu Sa Sachin and Aaj Toh Sunday Hai.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh continues to shine in her acting career. She is known for her performances in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She is now gearing up for her Bollywood debut with Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Baby John.
