On December 6, 2024, the girl’s father had given a complaint to the police station complaining that his 18-year-old daughter was lured away by the neighboring youth Monu alias Girja Shankar (24 years), resident of Souh police station, Kalyanpur, on the pretext of marriage on November 30, 2024. Went. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case of kidnapping and started searching for the accused.
After recovery, the girl told the police in her statement that Monu used to visit the houses of neighboring relatives, due to which the conversation started on mobile phone. Monu trapped her in his love trap on the pretext of marriage and took her to a house. The girl alleged that Monu raped her and used to beat her when she protested.
Case under POCSO Act and other sections Sub-Inspector Prashant Mishra said that initially a case of kidnapping was registered on the complaint of the father. But on the basis of the girl’s statement and medical examination, a case was registered against the accused under POCSO Act, rape and other related sections. The police have arrested the accused and after presenting him in the court, have started the process of sending him to jail.
