Efforts are being made to improve traffic in Noida. For this, the U-turn going to GIP from Sector-18 will be widened. This is the roof of U Turn Sector-18 underpass. That means one more lane will be increased by widening the roof of the underpass.

So that there is no jam on both sides. And the vehicle can easily take a turn and go from Sector-18 towards GIP. The authority said that a consultant company will be selected for this. The company will make a model according to the height of the underpass. After which the work of laying slap will be done here.

Thousands of vehicles will get relief from one slab

Actually, the traffic coming from Film City and Delhi which has to go to Garden Galleria or GIP Mall. During peak hour, thousands of drivers have to face jam every day on this U-turn of traffic going from Sector-18 to Noida Expressway.

Due to overloading of vehicles, jam of up to half a kilometer occurs. Here vehicles have to go through the slip road of the underpass. In such a situation, people who have to go on DSC road in this traffic also get stuck in the jam.

Underpass roof slab will be laid

The feasibility survey revealed that if the roof above this underpass is widened, vehicles will be able to pass through here without any jam. Due to this there will be no problem of jam.

The problem is that this slab has to be put on top of the underpass, which will only increase the width of the road. In such a situation, the consultant company will prepare its design according to the measurement of the height of the underpass. The design will be sent to IIT. After approval from there, tender will be issued for its construction.
