The district administration and railway department have intensified preparations for the Maha Kumbh Mela-2025 in Chitrakoot. DM Shivsharan visited Karvi station along with senior railway officials and took stock of the arrangements.

DM said that in view of the huge number of devotees during Mahakumbh, stoppage of 12 additional trains will be ensured in Chitrakoot district. Along with this, arrangements will also be made to stop the trains at major stations like Manikpur, Shivrampur and Bharatkup, so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience in the journey.

This meeting was organized between the district administration and railway officials at Chitrakoot Dham railway station. After the meeting the team also inspected the station. DM said that devotees coming from Prayagraj reach Chitrakoot for Ramghat, Mandakini River and Kamadgiri Parikrama. In such a situation, proper arrangements are being made for their convenience.
This step of the district administration regarding the preparations for Mahakumbh is welcome, which will provide better facilities to lakhs of devotees.
