AAJ KA PANCHANG, 14 DECEMBER, 2024: The Chaturdashi and Purnima Tithis of Shukla Paksha fall on December 14, marking the observance of festivals like Dattatreya Jayanti and Rohini Vrat. Dattatreya Jayanti commemorates the birth of Lord Dattatreya, a deity embodying the divine trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, collectively referred to as Trimurti.

Rohini Vrat, a significant fasting day in the Jain community, is predominantly observed by women, seeking the long life and well-being of their husbands. The vrat derives its name from Rohini, one of the 27 Nakshatras in the Jain and Hindu calendars.

It is recommended to check the Tithi and understand the auspicious and inauspicious timings before starting any event. This practice provides valuable insights, helping you avoid potential issues later on.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON DECEMBER 14

On December 14, the sun will rise at 7:06 AM and set at 5:26 PM. The moon will rise at 4:16 PM and set at approximately 7:04 AM on December 15.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR DECEMBER 14

On this day, the Chaturdashi Tithi will last until 4:58 PM, after which the Purnima Tithi will begin. The Rohini Nakshatra will remain until 3:54 AM on December 15, followed by the Mrigashira Nakshatra. The moon will be in Vrishabha Rashi, while the sun will be in Vrishchika Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR DECEMBER 14

The auspicious timings for the day begin with Brahma Muhurta, which lasts from 5:17 AM to 6:11 AM. The favorable Abhijit Muhurat is from 11:55 AM to 12:37 PM. Pratah Sandhya Muhurat will occur between 5:44 AM and 7:06 AM. The Vijaya Muhurat will take place from 1:59 PM to 2:41 PM. In the evening, Godhuli Muhurat will be observed from 5:23 PM to 5:51 PM, followed by Sayahna Sandhya from 5:26 PM to 6:48 PM. Finally, Nishita Muhurat will be from 11:49 PM to 12:44 AM on December 15.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR DECEMBER 14

The inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam Muhurat will be from 9:41 AM to 10:58 AM, Yamaganda Muhurat from 1:33 PM to 2:51 PM, and Gulikai Kalam Muhurat from 7:06 AM to 8:23 AM. Additionally, the Baana Muhurat will be in Mrityu until 10:43 PM, after which it will shift into Agni and continue throughout the night.
