Prevention of increasing accidents in fog and mist Road accidents increase due to fog and mist in winter. In such a situation, the administration took the initiative to install reflectors to increase the visibility of vehicles at night. Officials said that the use of reflectors will prove effective in preventing accidents as it indicates the presence of vehicles from a distance.
Instructions given to drivers In the program, the District Magistrate and SSP advised the tractor-trolley drivers to not only protect themselves by installing reflectors, but also inspire the people nearby to do the same. Officials said that excessive speed and use of bright headlights sometimes lead to accidents. On this occasion, an appeal was made to the drivers to follow the road signs and drive at low speed.

Don’t forget to wait for your family Addressing the people, District Magistrate Avnish Rai said, “Life is precious, it is not right to waste it carelessly. Your family is waiting for you at home.” He appealed to the drivers not to perform stunts and follow the traffic rules.
Involvement of police and transport department Additional Superintendent of Police, City Abhaynath Tripathi, area traffic officer Dravin Kumar Singh, traffic in-charge Subedar Singh and other officers and employees were present in this campaign. Everyone together resolved to spread awareness about road safety.
