Friday prayers were conducted under tight security.

Friday prayers were completed peacefully and safely in Gonda district today. Extensive security arrangements were made in all four tehsils of the district. Due to the vigilance of Gonda police and administration, prayers were offered in a peaceful atmosphere in all the mosques.

During Friday prayers, the police administration monitored mosques and their surrounding areas through drone cameras. Besides, a vigilant watch was also kept on social media, so that any attempt to spoil the atmosphere through rumors could be prevented.

Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal visited various areas of the district and took stock of the security arrangements. He instructed the police personnel to perform their duty promptly. A large number of police personnel were deployed around major mosques of Gonda city, such as Deputy Masjid, Chhawni Masjid and Badi Masjid. These areas were continuously monitored through drone cameras.

Surveillance was done through drones.

Intelligence agencies remained alert During the Namaz, officers and employees of the Intelligence Department and other security agencies remained active in the entire district. His vigilance played an important role in preventing any untoward incident. Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal said, “Jumma prayers were conducted peacefully in the district. Complete vigilance was maintained through social media and drone cameras. No problem was reported from any place.”
