Late night in Hathras, District Magistrate Rahul Pandey inspected the urban shelter and bus stand shelter and visited the city and distributed blankets to the needy people to provide relief from the cold. The District Magistrate inaugurated the urban shelter run by Hathras Municipality.

On getting information, Deputy District Officer Sadar said that at present 17 people are staying in the shelter. Arrangements for bonfire have also been made in the shelter. There is adequate provision of blankets etc. to protect the people staying here from cold. After this the District Magistrate inspected the bus stand. There he talked to the passengers and inquired about their well-being.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate gave instructions to accommodate the helpless people in night shelters and to maintain the essential basic facilities. The District Magistrate, while directing the officials, said that the helpless people sleeping at night on the roadside should be accommodated in night shelters.
Light bonfires in public places Instructions were given to ensure 100% arrangement for lighting bonfires at public places and intersections. He said that there should not be any kind of negligence in this. During the inspection, Additional District Magistrate Finance-Revenue, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar, Executive Officer Municipality Hathras etc. were present.
