Kareena Kapoor Khan had earlier revealed that her elder son Taimur is a fan of Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Kartik Aaryan had a candid chat with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan at the RK Film Festival in Mumbai, and a clip of their interaction has gone viral. In the video, Kartik can be seen urging Saif and Kareena to show their kids his latest blockbuster, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Referring to their elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, he said, “Taimur ko toh dikha do…”
Kareena had earlier revealed that Taimur is a fan of Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Speaking about her son’s love for the film, she had shared in 2022, “Taimur watched Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and loved it. That was actually his first Hindi film. He went with Saif to watch it, and he ended up loving it.” The 2022 horror-comedy, starring Kartik alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu, was a massive hit, earning Rs 260 crore globally and becoming a Netflix sensation.
The latest installment, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has been an even bigger success, grossing over Rs 421 crore worldwide. It has emerged as the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024 and the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of the year, further solidifying Kartik’s position as a box-office powerhouse.
Meanwhile, the RK Film Festival, organised by PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation, pays homage to Raj Kapoor’s timeless cinematic legacy. The three-day event kicked off with a grand opening night, featuring screenings of Kapoor’s iconic films, such as Awaara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker, in select theatres across 40 cities.
Ranbir Kapoor, who shares a striking resemblance to his legendary grandfather, embraced the occasion by donning a classic dark bandhgala and a moustache, evoking memories of Raj Kapoor’s suave style. Alia Bhatt, meanwhile, was a vision in an ivory saree, which fans speculated was a tribute to Nargis, Raj Kapoor’s iconic co-star.
The night saw the Kapoor family and Bollywood stars coming together to commemorate the legacy of one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated pioneers.
