More than 18 serious criminal cases including murder, cow slaughter act, gangsterism are registered against Kheri Town resident Arshad Ansari in Lakhimpur, Sitapur and Lucknow. Even after cases were registered under such serious sections, Arshad Ansari was successful in getting the passport made. With the help of this passport, Arshad is suspected to have absconded to Saudi Arabia.
Let us tell you that before making a passport, several levels of investigation are done. Apart from verification of educational documents, the person holding the passport is also checked whether he has any criminal history. The passport is issued only after everything is found correct. The question arises that despite so much investigation, other departments including the police could not investigate Arshad’s history.
