In Kannauj, school vans are seen roaming on the roads without any standard. More than the prescribed number of children are crammed into these. These vans neither have the name of the school written on them nor do they have a fire extinguisher.

Most of the non-standard vans are being run on LPG gas. If they leak, a major accident can occur at any time. Apart from this, in rural areas, school operators have deployed autos to transport children, in which there are no arrangements for the safety of children. Despite this, such school vehicles are not visible to the traffic police and transport department officials.

CCTV cameras become showpiece To improve the traffic system, CCTV cameras were installed by the traffic police in crowded areas, intersections and intersections across the district.
