Shahjahanpur Police has arrested two absconding accused of Ayush murder case, Nishant Mishra and Kamal. Both the accused were absconding after the incident. The father of the deceased had accused the MLA and ministers of protecting the accused in this case.

Earlier, the accused Arvind Verma and Ashutosh alias Prince’s wife Palak involved in the incident had surrendered in the court, due to which questions were raised on the working style of the police. Police have so far sent seven accused to jail, but many accused including Swapnil Sharma, who is said to be the mastermind, are still absconding. On December 2, Ayush was shot dead at the OCF ground located in Sadar Bazar police station. On the complaint of the father, an FIR was registered against 13 named and one unidentified persons including Ashutosh alias Prince, Swapnil Sharma, Arvind Verma, Nishant Mishra.
Both the arrested accused are being interrogated CO City Pankaj Pant said that both the arrested accused are being interrogated. Police claim that soon other absconding accused will also be caught. Nishant Mishra and Kamal are likely to be sent to jail on Friday. Police have also received remand orders of accused Arvind Verma from the court.
