In fact, according to Assistant District Government Advocate Ajit Pawar, Pramod Kumar had told in the report lodged in the Kotwali city police station that on November 2, 2023, his brother Rajesh, resident of Nai Basti Bengali Wali Gali, Kotwali city police station, had gone to Noorpur Road on a bike. His mobile was switched off since afternoon. On November 3, Rajesh’s body was found near Sukhi Canal on Jodhuwala Road. There was blood on his eyes and mouth. Rajesh’s bike was lying on the bank of the canal.

Allegations were made that some unknown person had murdered Rajesh and thrown the body there and the accused had absconded. During investigation, the police arrested the accused Suresh son of Sitaram, resident of village Nawada, police station Haldaur, Faim Painter alias Haseen son of Ajmal, resident of Mohalla Kanshiram Colony, police station Kotwali city.

The accused told the police that Rajesh’s wife Rita had illicit relations with the accused Faim Painter alias Haseen. To remove Rajesh from the way, a conspiracy was hatched to murder him. Faim Painter alias Haseen and Suresh strangled Rajesh to death and dumped his body on the canal bank. The police recovered the clothes and other items used in the incident and the mobile phone of the deceased at the behest of the accused.

In this case, Judge Nijendra Kumar accused Suresh, Faim Painter. Ali Haseen and Rita were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 each on accused Suresh and Faim Painter alias Hasin and a fine of Rs 25,000 on Rita.
