SIT has started its investigation from IIT campus. During the investigation, the team has found the most important electronic evidence. In this, many evidences including WhatsApp chat, call recording, videos and photos have been found from the ACP of the research scholar. The victim has provided all this evidence to the team. According to the investigating officers, this evidence is against the accused ACP Mohammad Mohsin Khan.
On the other hand, a team of police in IIT collected CCTV footage from many places including outside the student’s hostel, mess and classroom. The police have also taken the entries of ACP’s movements in the student’s hostel register as evidence. The investigation team has included CCTV footage as evidence in the investigation.
Along with this, the forensic team also reached the student’s room to investigate. During the investigation, the student cooperated with the team in gathering evidence. According to the officers involved in the investigation team, the forensic team has also got very important evidence. The forensic team has also seized the student’s mobile phone for investigation.
The police have recorded the statement of the student after getting her medical done.
Magistrate statement of student will be held today
Immediately after registering the FIR in the case, on Thursday, the research scholar was taken to Kalyanpur CHC for medical treatment. But due to it being late at night, a part of the medical examination, the pathological test, was left. The medical examination of the student along with pathological test was completed on Friday.
After this, the process of recording the statement of the scholar under Section 161 continued till the evening in the presence of ADCP Archana Singh.
Vicious Mohsin got medical done before FIR
If sources are to be believed, ACP Mohammad Mohsin Khan reached Halat Hospital at around 3 o’clock, three hours before the FIR was registered. Here he tried to get a medical related to spine disease, but the doctor did not make him medical. However, the doctor referred him to Hallett, showing spinal disease.
An attempt was made to talk to Sanjay Kala, the principal of the medical college, in this regard, but after becoming a medical officer, no one from the principal of the medical college to the doctor is ready to give any answer regarding the medical status of ACP.

I met ACP Mohsin at IIT Kanpur in December, 2023. Took each other’s mobile numbers. On June 23, 2024, he called me. Said- Want to do PhD from IIT under my guidance. Help is needed for this. I said yes. I deposited his admission fees. Gave tips for walk in interview. Here he gave an interview. He got admission. Then we both came closer.
Meanwhile, Khan proposed a relationship. Said- He is unmarried. At that time I was going through the pain of a breakup. I felt lonely, so I trusted. We both started spending time in the hostel room. ACP hooked up with me. Meanwhile, I came to know that he was married. I had a fight with him regarding this matter. Then Mohsin told me that he was going to divorce his wife. He has a 5 year old daughter. Then I trusted him.
This year, on 27th November, ACP became a father, only then the truth came out. After this I realized that I had been deceived. I went to ACP’s house. Then it came to light that the talk of divorce was false. ACP was never separated from his wife.
Student said – ACP trapped her in love and raped her
The student lodged an FIR against ACP at Kalyanpur police station on Thursday. It was told that ACP raped her after luring her into love. On Thursday, on the orders of Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar, DCP South Ankita Sharma and ACP Archana Singh reached IIT in civil dress. Both the women officers interrogated. The allegation was found true. After this, a five-member inquiry committee has been formed under the chairmanship of ADCP Traffic Archana Singh.
An FIR has been registered against the accused ACP under Section 69 of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS). Under this, it is a crime to deceive a woman and have physical relations with her. If the allegations against ACP are proved true, he could face up to 10 years in jail and a fine.
On Thursday, the police took the student to the hospital for medical examination.
10 years imprisonment, arrest ACP immediately
A named report has been registered against Mohsin under Section 69 BNS. There is a punishment of 10 years in this section. But experts are surprised that ACP Mohsin has not been arrested till now. Former General Secretary of Kanpur Bar Association, Kapildeep Sachan said that in case of punishment above 7 years, the common man is immediately arrested.
In this case the punishment is 10 years. If a gazetted officer has committed a heinous crime then he is not being arrested. This is wrong. ACP Mohsin Khan should be arrested immediately. Various types of discussions are being held not only among advocates but also on social media regarding the arrest of ACP. People are raising questions on the action of Kanpur Police Commissionerate.
