The Irrigation Department did not repair the minor tracks near village Muhari in Kotwali Hathras Junction area. Due to this, the miner’s track was cut and the farmers’ fields were flooded. These farmers had sown mustard crop in their fields.

When the farmers saw the miner’s track cut and the fields filled with water, they also informed the Irrigation Department, but no employee or officer of the Irrigation Department reached the spot. Hundreds of bighas of farmers’ crops were submerged in water. Here, the farmers themselves started repairing the minor tracks.

Track repaired after hard work After hard work, the farmers repaired the track of the miner and stopped the flow of water. Farmers say that they have suffered losses worth lakhs due to crop sinking. He also says that the Irrigation Department is not repairing the tracks. Because of this, the tracks of the princes are often getting cut.
