A candle march was taken out in Old Lucknow on Friday in support of minorities around the world. This march started from Chhota Imambara and ended through various routes. Various religious leaders participated in it and expressed their concern about the atrocities being committed on minorities.

The candle march was led by Maulana Kalbe Jawad. Religious leaders from Hindu, Muslim, Shia, and other religions also joined him. Everyone demonstrated solidarity against atrocities by holding candles and placards in their hands.

During the march, demands were made to stop the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Along with this, protest was also expressed against the attacks on Shias in Pakistan and the ongoing violence in Palestine. The religious leaders gave the message that atrocities against minorities are unacceptable in any country and should be stopped immediately.

Maulana Kalbe Jawad said that this march has been taken out in support of humanity. All communities should unite and raise their voice against injustice. Religious leaders appealed that the international community should take cognizance of these matters and ensure the safety of Hindus.
