Many farmer leaders have been arrested in the ongoing anti-land acquisition movement in Gautam Buddha Nagar, due to which there is anger among the farmers. Today, farmers met BKU National President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait and National Spokesperson Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait regarding this issue and expressed their pain.
After the meeting, Chaudhary Naresh Tikait assured all the leaders that injustice will not be allowed to any farmer. At the same time, Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait said in a statement that if the arrested farmers and leaders are not released by December 23, then a special monthly panchayat will be organized in Sisauli on December 23, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji, in which further A decision will be taken on the strategy of the movement.
Rakesh Tikait also told that if the problem is not resolved, then the upcoming Panchayat will be held in Gautam Buddha Nagar and if still no solution is found then a protest will be held by surrounding the police station.
Anil Talan of Bharatiya Kisan Union Mahatma Tikait, Pawan Tewatia of Bharatiya Kisan Union Sampoorna, Mahesh Kasana of Bharatiya Kisan Union Akhand Bharat and Sudhir Chauhan of Bharatiya Kisan Manch and other farmer leaders were present in the meeting.
