National Lok Adalat was successfully organized in Unnao in the Central Auditorium of District Court Unnao. On this occasion, Administrative Justice Samit Gopal Judge, High Court Allahabad started the program by lighting the lamp and garlanding the statue of Maa Saraswati.

Prominent judicial officers, members of Bar Association Unnao, District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi, Deepak Bhukar Superintendent of Police, bank officials and other dignitaries were present in the programme. Along with this, judicial officers also presented mementoes and bouquets to the Administrative Justice and his wife.
National Lok Adalat was conducted by Manish Nigam, Additional District Judge/Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Unnao. Chief Legal Aid Defense Council Rajesh Tripathi, Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Council Ramesh Chandra Verma, and other Legal Services Authority employees and paralegal volunteers were prominently present in the program. Administrative Justice Samit Gopal Judge also planted trees.
During the organization of National Lok Adalat, a health camp was also organized in the District Court premises, in which Dr. Satya Prakash, Chief Medical Officer Unnao, and Dr. Kaptan Singh of the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine Department provided health services.
The objective of this Lok Adalat was to settle as many cases as possible on the basis of compromise. During this period, 70 cases were settled in the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, in which compensation of Rs 4,20,95,000 was awarded. Apart from this, payment of Rs 64,93,28,48 was fixed in 120 matrimonial suits, 1040 bank recovery suits. The promises of BSNL and finance companies were also settled.
Apart from this, a fine of Rs 6,31,715 was settled in 55 civil cases, 4079 criminal compoundable cases, 12 N.I.Act cases and 1040 other cases. Many cases were also resolved by the Revenue Department. Especially 20,646 pre-litigation cases related to electricity were disposed of.
Of the matrimonial suits settled in Lok Adalat, 45 couples agreed to reunite on the basis of mutual reconciliation agreement and promised to live together without any dispute in future. In this way, a total of 74,994 cases were disposed of in the organization of National Lok Adalat, which speeded up the justice system and made justice accessible to the public.
