The body of a 17-year-old student of Madrasa Arabiya Ahle Sunnat Ghausul Uloom Madrasa was found hanging from the fan under suspicious circumstances in Agapurwa village of Trilokpur Gram Panchayat of Gonda’s Dhanepur police station area late on Sunday night. As soon as information about the incident was received, Dhanepur police and area officer Sadar reached the spot. The body was taken down from the noose and sent for postmortem. Dog squad and forensic teams have also reached the spot. Police have started investigating the matter.
Interrogation of madrassa operators
Police are collecting evidence from the incident site. The police also interrogated the director and employees of the madrasa. Apart from this, information is also being taken from other students living in the madrasa.
Panic after finding dead body in Madrasa campus
According to the Madrasa staff, when they saw the student inside the room on Sunday night, he was hanging from the fan. This information was immediately given to the police. Dhanepur police station incharge Sunil Kumar Singh said that prima facie the case seems to be a suicide. The body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem and the police is investigating the matter in depth.
Information given to family
Police officials said that the family members of the deceased student have been informed about the incident. Police are investigating the incident from every angle so that the true reasons can be found out. The situation will become clear after the postmortem report comes.
