New Zealand has given England a target of 658 runs to win in the Hamilton Test. By the end of the third day’s play, England had scored 18 runs after losing 2 wickets. The team is currently 640 runs behind the target.
On Monday, on the third day, New Zealand started playing with a score of 136/3. The team was all out for 453 runs in the second innings. Kane Williamson scored a century (156 runs). This was his 33rd Test century. Williamson scored his 5th consecutive and 7th overall Test century in Hamilton. He has become the first player to score 5 consecutive Test centuries at any one venue.
Earlier, the Kiwi team had scored 347 runs in the first innings. At the same time, England was all out for 143 runs in the first innings.
New Zealand’s second innings: Williamson’s century New Zealand’s star batsman Kane Williamson scored a century in the second innings. He scored 156 runs on 204 balls. Joe Root scored the highest innings of 32 runs in 42 balls with the help of 6 fours. Captain Ben Stokes scored 27 runs in 43 balls and Ollie Pope scored 24 runs in 42 balls.
