In a tragic road accident on Sunday night near village Nanpur on Meerut Road in Hapur, two bikes collided head-on. In this accident, Shabnam (45), resident of Kithore, Meerut, and her son Faiz alias Bhura (17) died on the spot. While Shabnam’s husband Wahid is seriously injured.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the injured to the hospital. The family members have refused to take legal action. Mother and son died in the accident. But no written complaint has been filed yet.
Had gone to attend elder brother’s son’s wedding
According to the information, Wahid, a resident of Kithore town of Meerut district, works as a carpenter by taking a rented shop in Meerut. Wahid had gone to Chandner village of Bahadurgarh area with his wife Shabnam and son Faiz on Sunday to attend the wedding of his elder brother Abdul Salam’s son. All three were returning to Kithore late at night on a bike. Near village Nanpur on Meerut Road, suddenly a speeding bike came from the front. While trying to save him, Wahid lost control. His bike collided with the bike of Naeem resident of village Kaland, Sardhana Meerut coming from the front. Wahid, Shabnam, Faiz and Naeem were injured in the fierce clash. Police reached the spot after receiving information and immediately admitted all four to the local hospital. Shabnam and Faiz died during treatment in the hospital. The doctors referred Wahid to Meerut in critical condition.
Takotwali in-charge Neeraj Kumar said that mother and son died in the accident. No written complaint has been made in the matter.
