A big case of fraud in the name of fake job has come to light in Lucknow. Rafis Khan, a resident of Bidokhar village in Hamirpur district, appealed for justice to the Director General of Police on Tuesday, accusing thugs linked to Uttarakhand and Lucknow of defrauding him of ₹470 000.

Lucknow woman involved in fraud
According to Rafis Khan, during the recruitment for the post of CHO (Community Health Officer) in 2022, his acquaintances Nafisa Bano, Sweta Singh and Mohsin Khan had applied.
Meanwhile, Hemlata, a woman from Lucknow, who is said to be working at the Forest Staff Center in Krishnanagar. Nafisa was assured that her acquaintance Manoj Verma, resident of Gandhi Colony, Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand), would get everyone a job on the post of CHO.
Cheated out of money on the pretext of getting a job
At the behest of Nafisa and other candidates, Rafis transferred a total of ₹ 470000 online to Manoj Verma’s account. After this, repeated assurances were given, but when the appointment did not happen even after a lot of time had passed, Rafis asked for his money back. The swindlers initially made false excuses and later flatly refused to return the money.
Demand for action from police
Rafis Khan has submitted a complaint letter to the Director General of Police regarding this entire episode. He has demanded strict legal action against the fraudsters and return of the money.
