AAJ KA PANCHANG, 18 DECEMBER, 2024: Tritiya Tithi and Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha will fall on Wednesday, December 18. On this day, Akhuratha Sankashti Chaturthi will be celebrated nationwide. For many Hindus, who consider auspicious and inauspicious periods before beginning any major undertakings, this is a crucial time. Time is divided into Tithis in the Hindu calendar, and each Tithis has unique characteristics that affect different activities. It is said that carrying out duties during specific Tithis might result in success, whilst doing so at unfavourable times may cause difficulties.
SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON DECEMBER 18
As per Drik Panchang, the sun is expected to rise at 7:08 AM and set at 5:28 PM. The moon will rise around 8:27 PM, and the moon will set at 9:52 AM.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR DECEMBER 18
On this day, the Tritiya Tithi will last until 10:06 AM, after which it will shift to Chaturthi Tithi. The Pushya Nakshatra will remain until 12:58 AM on December 19, then transition to the Ashlesha Nakshatra. The sun is expected to be in Dhanu Rashi, while the moon will be in Karka Rashi.
SHUBH MUHURAT FOR DECEMBER 18
On this day, the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta will be observed from 05:46 AM to 07:08 AM, and the Brahma Muhurta will take place from 05:19 AM to 06:14 AM. The Vijaya Muhurta is from 2:01 PM to 02:42 PM. Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta will run from 05:28 PM to 06:50 PM, with the Godhuli Muhurta occurring between 05:25 PM and 05:52 PM. Amrit Kalam Muhurta will be from 6:30 PM to 8:07 PM, and Nishita Muhurta is scheduled from 11:51 PM to 12:46 AM on December 19.
ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR DECEMBER 18
On Monday, the Rahu Kalam Muhurat will be observed from 12:18 PM to 1:35 PM. The Yamaganda Muhurat is set from 8:26 AM to 9:43 AM, while the Gulikai Kalam Muhurat is expected between 11:01 PM and 12:18 PM. The Dur Muhurtam will occur from 11:57 AM to 12:39 PM. The Baana Muhurat will be in Agni until 09:06 PM.
