YouTuber Slams Air India For ‘Worst Business Class’ Experience In 9-Hour Flight – News18

A YouTuber detailed his experience on the Air India flight while travelling from London to Amritsar.
Leading Indian airline Air India came under fire after a traveller criticised its business class service as the “worst” he has ever experienced. YouTuber and travel influencer Dew Binsky, who was flying business class from London to Amritsar, described his nine-hour journey as “pathetic” in a detailed Instagram post.
Taking to his social media handle, Dew wrote, “Worst business class experience of my life the other day on @airindia from London to Amritsar. I had to eat on a hair-infested pillow!!! Can you believe I paid $750 to upgrade for this? I’ll never be flying Air India again!”
He also shared a video providing visual proof of his ordeal. Dew highlighted the issues in detail, from a seat that didn’t recline and a stuck table to being served food on his lap over a pillow—complete with hair strands on it. He pointed out the filthy seat, non-functional TV, and broken WiFi. Additionally, Dew criticised the amenities kit, meant for first-class passengers, which contained only one lotion he likened to something from a “one-star motel.” To top it off, the hotel towel he requested was cold when handed to him.
“Thank you, Air India, for this nine-hour miserable journey for which I spent $750 to upgrade,” he said at the end of the video, adding that he won’t recommend anyone travel by the airline. Social media users also reacted to the video, with some mocking the services of the Indian airline. One wrote, “Bro casually destroyed the company’s reputation,” while another added, “Tell me you are in India without telling me you are in India.”
“I’ve done this flight twice, upgraded both times, and both times it was terrible. I’ve also gotten food poisoning on Air India twice. Avoid at all costs,” a user shared. Air India, which has been in the news lately for its repeated cases of flight delays, made headlines after a flight en route to Delhi was stuck at the Mumbai runway for more than three hours, leaving passengers hungry on Sunday afternoon.
Several videos from inside the Air India flight have gone viral on social media, showing frustrated passengers waiting impatiently. Although they were given a breakfast package, the airline did not promptly arrange for the passengers to be taken to the terminal lounge.
