The child suffered serious injuries in the accident and died on the spot. The uncle of the child who was riding the bike also suffered serious injuries. People nearby immediately took him to the hospital, where the child was declared dead. The child’s maternal uncle has been referred to the district hospital in critical condition.

There was a wedding ceremony in the family of Prempal Singh, resident of Jakhera village of Atrauli. His relatives had also come to participate in it. The brother-in-law of Prempal, resident of Saidgarhi village of Ahmedgarh police station of Bulandshahr, also came to Aligarh. He had left home in the evening to go to the function.

He had also made 6 year old innocent child Krishna son Prempal sit with him. The program was held on the beach on the way from Lohagarh to Jirauli Dhumsingh. Eyewitnesses said that both were on their way. Meanwhile, a JCB hit them, due to which both of them suffered serious injuries and the child died.

The police reached the spot and kept the child’s body in the mortuary for post-mortem.

Search continues for accused driver

On receiving information about the incident, the regional police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police sent the innocent body for post-mortem. Post mortem of the body will be conducted on Thursday. The driver of the JCB who hit the bike riders is being searched.

Atrauli police station in-charge Vijaykant Sharma said that the body has been kept in the mortuary. A case is being registered after taking a complaint from the victim’s family. The search for the accused driver is going on and soon he will be in police custody. After which strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
