On October 12, 2015, a 16-year-old girl had left home to go to the market in a village in Bharthana area, but did not return. The family members started searching. Two women of the village told that they had seen the girl going to the market near the vegetable market on the bike of Rahul son of Anil Kumar, resident of Pooth Ki Madaiya. Rahul’s mother Reshma was also riding on the second bike.
On the complaint of the family members, the police registered a case against Rahul and Reshma for luring the girl away. Police recovered the girl during investigation and arrested Rahul and Reshma. After investigation, sections of rape and POCSO Act were added.
