A bike rider going from Kannauj towards Kanpur was hit by a vehicle on the National Highway in front of Nasirapur village in Bilhaur, Kanpur. The bike rider died in the accident. Police reached the spot after getting information and started legal proceedings.

Ravi Kumar (32), son of Mr., resident of Jaspurapur village of Tirwa police station area of Kannauj, was going from Kannauj towards Kanpur by bike on Tuesday evening.
Then a vehicle coming from the service road near the over bridge on Kanpur-Aligarh Highway in front of Nasirapur village in Araul police station area hit his bike hard from the front.
The bike rider was seriously injured in the accident. Police reached the spot after receiving information from passers-by and sent the injured to the Community Health Center for treatment in an ambulance. Where the doctors declared him dead after examination.
The police informed the family members about the incident through the mobile phone found near the deceased. After the family members reached the spot, legal action was taken and the body was sent for post-mortem.
